Dean Carlson, The founder of Styled Ice and a certified Master Ice Carver, has appeared on CBS Sunday Morning, local news papers, and Canadian television. The holder of two US National Championship titles, he was a formidable force at competitions throughout the US, Canada, and Japan. His competition career culminated at the 1998 Nagano Winter Olympics where he captained the US Ice Sculpting Team. Having achieved his dream of seeing Ice Sculpting make it into the Olympics, he then turned his attention to the growing success of Styled Ice Inc.

Benjamin Rand has worked for Styled Ice Inc since 2003 after graduating from an ACF Culinary Apprenticeship. He is the reining 2012 US NICA National Champion. Ben has competed around the world in events such as: The 2010 Winter Olympics, Vancouver, 2006 Winter Olympics held in Turino, Italy, the World Ice Championships Fairbanks, Alaska, the Karuizawa Ice Festival, Japan, and many of the top Ice carving events held in the USA including the National Ice Carving Championships 03-12.

Tim Grover has over 16 years of ice carving experience. He holds a Bachelors degree from the prestigious Culinary Institute of America, where he served as president of the Ice Carving Club. Tim has worked in the hospitality industry for the past 19 years and is a medal-winning competition carver. He is also a Certified Ice Carver from the National Ice Carving Association. Styled Ice is happy to have Tim become part of the team and pursue furthering his carving ability.
